Special Events

In addition to our regular programming, the Port Angeles Symphony sponsors additional events each year, each with music and a menu which may range from light refreshments to a complete gourmet dinner. A portion of each ticket price helps support the Symphony.

We kick off each Symphony Season with our POPS Concert. We invite you to bring your picnic dinner to this event. Your ticket price includes the best popcorn in town and ice cream floats. Arrive early to enjoy your picnic or eat during the concert.

Concert and Cuisine, offered each September at the C’est Si Bon Restaurant, features a full gourmet dinner with music by the winners of the Young Artist Competition and the Junior Young Artist Competition.

We frequently offer a late-winter/early spring event: Music Across the Strait. This event includes lunch in Victoria with music by the Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra and tickets to a performance by Pacific Opera Victoria. Past trips featured Mozart’s The Magic Flute; Puccini’s Madama Butterfly; Mozart’s Don Giovanni; and Verdi’s Rigoletto.

Other special events vary from year to year: Summer Splash offered a pig roast and wild salmon barbeque at the Cedar Creek Restaurant in Sequim. Another year featured wine, music and hors d’oeuvres at McComb Garden Nursery, and on several occasions, we sponsored dinner and music on a sunset cruise to Protection Island.
